Coaching Agreement
Understanding Coaching
Coaching is a partnership between a coach and a client during a process that inspires and empowers the client to develop their personal and professional growth. By providing objective assessments and professional observations, the coach challenges the client to explore new possibilities, reflect on their areas of opportunity, and consider fresh perspectives. With support from the coach, the client will develop personal, professional, and business goals, along with clear action plans. Coaching is a learning experience that requires trust, respect, and courage.
Evoke coaches follow the ethics and standards established by the International Coach Federation (ICF), which can be read in detail at coachfederation.org/ethics.
Confidentiality
Evoke coaches are bound by the ICF principles of confidentiality. Coaches will not share information related to clients or the coaching relationship, except for the instances stated below. Be aware the coach-client relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship, like the medical and legal professions.
Optional Recording
On occasion, Evoke will request that sessions are recorded, in order to confirm that services being provided are in alignment with best coaching practices. Requests to record will be sent to clients in advance and are voluntary. Recordings will be deleted within 2 weeks.
